shine like the sun
and take the darkness away.
sail through the bright blue sky
and hover in the clouds above me,
but promise to shine through, so i can see.

i've been listening
to songs on repeat, recently.
because the lyrics seem to be
the most relateable thing
to how i think of you.

x

and you know,
i've been remembering my dreams lately.
"you dream of the last thing on your consious mind",
you will hear them say.
well it's no wonder i dream of you.

x

and when i wake, thoughts of forever
are created in me, through you.
"forever's a long time", you will hear them say.
well, i say forever's not long enough
when it
Unwritten
It's been one month now.
Four weeks.
Thirty days;
Just the beginning
of our story.
An unwritten book,
with only the prologue
printed out.

So let's write out this book.
Word by word.
Page by page.
Chapter by chapter.

A book about us,
and our life together.
Of experiences;
both good and bad.
A book about
happiness and love
and real smiles
and sunshine.

All the good things in life
we will share
not alone, but together,
don't worry because

Inside this book holds the day
where we are together in peace.
Where we lay side by side,
hand in hand.
Where I kiss those sweet lips
and graze those soft hips.
The day I will ha
To The Sky
i wish i could bring you to the sky;
clouds like an unlimited
supply of cotton candy
surround us entirely
and the sun halos your head,
whilst i swallow your love
just outside the pearly
white gates, as
the Angels peer out
envious of the beauty
that would emit from us
the first time we touch.
Winter's Cold
Snow still teasing me
in piles of sparkling white;
it extracts
my anxiety

for

I'm stuck in this
Canadian winter
that is forever
and my thoughts

they rest

on summer in the
distance,
because my thoughts
they rest

on you.

Waiting for summer
to melt away
this distance
between us

finally,

I will be able
to fly to you with
these wings
stiffened from

winter's cold.

To hold you
while the sun's rays
beam on our skin;
summer's kisses-

summer's pleasure.
My Red Sky
As I walked down
the silent roads
as dusk approached
the sky grew red.

As I peered up
toward the scorched
sky, deeply saturated
with ruby tint

I questioned the
scattered clouds
what the sky was
trying to indicate.

At first I thought,
perhaps the sky
was angered--
showing its fury.

However, at a
second glance it
was easy to realize;
the beauty

Within the rose-red
color. The sky
was not showing anger,
but rather love-

That spread through
you, to the wind;
a messenger
sent my way.

The wind kissed
my dark sky
with soft lips
imitating yours.

The red deepened
and would surely
not fade away--
thank you for b
My Addiction
You are my addiction.
A drug that comes free,
giving a high with no
negative side effects.
You are the addiction
I have no intentions
to ever give up.

You're a drug-
more like a medicine;
a multi-purpose cure.
No needles needed
for injection.
Not inhalation
nor consumption.

You diffuse into
my every pore;
love vapors.
Seeping into my
tightly knit skin
as though it is
completely permeable.

You surround me entirely
no matter where I go.
And you soak in,
into my bloodstream,
back to fuel my heart;
a heart belonging to you
until its last beat.

You are the addiction
I have no intentions
to ever give up.

i'm sorry to inform you, my dear,
for your goal may not be reached.
for you to meet such a state
is to conquer an impossible feat.
for the imperfection lays but
within the depths of your mind.
for they are buried beneath your
will to believe, believe that perfection
is not created, but for you to find.
for you see, my dear, perfection is
merely a perception. an illusion.
perceived in infinite variations,
often with many an obscure perspective.
and so you see, my dear,
while you persist you will find it
least effective, for you must
find it within yourself; "perfection."
